FOOD BY FRAZIER, PT 2

"Fried Turkey Delight"

Alright, so I got pretty starving last night after indulging in some post thanksgiving aromatherapy and absolutely had to eat some delicious food. A light bulb went off in my head to craft the sandwich of a lifetime, so it was done. I must admit however, that I had some serious help in the invention and execution of this late night snack, but that's not entirely important. Here is what you need:

Leftover thanksgiving turkey (leftover turkey is the best!)
2 Eggs
4 Slices of Bacon
4 "wedges" of avocado
Sour Cream (1 tbs)
Cream Cheese (2 tbs)(I actually used a greek cream cheese, but regular will work just as well if you don't want to go to a crazy grocery store that may/may not smell funny)
Chives
Horseradish (1 tbs)
Cheddar (shredded)
Mozzarella (shredded)
multigrain bread

ok guys, seriously this is just a sandwich, so if you can't figure it out you are pretty dumb. this is how i made it

start off with your bacon. cut your 4 slices in half and fry 'em up. dump a small amount of bacon grease in a second saute pan and dispose of the rest, but make sure you leave some grease in the original pan, that's how you are going to reheat the turkey! The bacon grease will give the turkey a little extra moisture and pizzazz.

As soon as you drop your turkey into the grease, crack open one of your eggs and get it frying at a medium-high temp. use your spatula to shape it in square about the size of your bread.

while all of this is going on, we need to make a soft boiled egg. I had never heard of this until a few months ago, and i'm hooked! soft boiled eggs have a much more moist, creamy yolk than a hardboiled, but it's not runny at all. bring a small pot of water to a boil, put in your egg and pull it off the eye. after about 8 minutes your egg is ready to come out.

mix your cream cheese, chives, sour cream and horseradish and spread it on your bread. cover this concoction with your shredded cheeses and stick the bread in a toaster oven until the cheese starts bubbling. if you're really a badass, broil that bread to give it some crisp on the cheese.

take the bread out, stack on your turkey, bacon, fried egg and avocado. put a little salt and pepper on it, close it up with the other piece of bread and eat it!

for maximum effect, eat this sandwich while watching Dexter

Like I said, it's just a sandwich, not rocket science.
